Why choose Ido rather than the better known Esperanto? A brief history of the two languages is followed by an explanation of the main differences between them.

The International Language (Ido) Society of Great Britain, ILSGB, welcomes new members. The annual subscription is 5 pounds sterling, payable to "ILSGB"; students and the unwaged may pay half this. Contact the Secretary via ilsgb at idolinguo.org.uk (replace "at" and omit spaces).
